8/9/01________________________________________________________ On July 22nd my father had a heart attack. The first scheduled operation (right after I posted a prayer request) was rescheduled when a physicians assistant discovered he had been given a blood thinner upon admittance that had to be weaned from his body or else he could have hemorrhaged. The operation was rescheduled for a few days later and he started to complain of a sore throat but no one discovered anything unusual until the anesthesiologist couldn't properly insert the breathing tube. A specialist discovered he had an allergic reaction to a potassium pill he was given earlier in the week and his throat was severely inflamed. It would have been a danger in trying to remove the tube after surgery. Both times, just at the right moment discoveries were made that had they not been made, could have caused serious complications for him. A quadruple bypass was performed a week ago. He was physically ready for it and came thru with minor complications and is coming home today. My father has been given a new lease on life and has a healthy 20 year span ahead God willing. I know it was the prayers that stopped the first two operations and I know it was your prayers that pulled him thru and brought him home. I will be forever grateful to all of you and the Lord Jesus Christ because my dad is my best friend and my life wouldn't be the same without him. I have also signed up as a Prayer Warrior as well. Thank you and I hope this inspires others to see that prayer does work, and if it is God's will, then whatever you pray for will be. We left it to God who decided the fate of the operation and my dad's health and I guess God saw he had a lot of people rooting for his life here on earth so he gave him to us for a little while longer. Thank you, and to God be all the glory...Amen. 8/9/01________________________________________________________ Thank all of you wonderful prayer warriors for your prayers for my grandson, Caleb. He is doing so much better now even though the doctors never did find out what was wrong with him. But, that does not really matter the only thing that matter is that God heard our prayers and answered them. Again, thank you for all your prayers... or urgent prayer for T. C., 13 year old boy who has been on a
self-destructive path since Aug. of 2000. He's had hospitalizations
and is on lots of medication. Please pray for God to take authority
over his mind and for Him to fill T. C. up with His presence and
love. Hoping for placement in a group home to stabilize him only if
it is God's will. We need a miracle or miracles for every problem he
faces. Thank you for caring and prayers, without them T. C. is
not going to make it. ANSWER TO PRAYER: Thank you for your prayers for our 13 year old grandson. God is moving. T. C. saw a spiritual counselor this week and asked for prayer for God to make a way for this to continue with Pastor R. Also he was accepted into a group home on a trial basis. He came home very discouraged after he took the tests and said he felt he did not pass. He got the results yesterday and passed his math course with a B. This is the third time he repeated this course. I know God answered your and my prayers. want to say thank you for all of the prayers for my children/family and
to share praises of answered prayers. My son Sean, and my daughter
Lauren, both passed their summer school classes and are back on
track...Thank you Lord!!! I am also not feeling so defeated by my
teens and their problems. :) Our older son Ryan (age
19) said that he opened his bible last week...progress. He says

Please pray for Grandpa. He is having a very

I Have A Praise
Report! Thank you, so much for your prayers. My Dad is doing great from
his surgery. Everything went well. He did have a bad time; could not
breath on his own; but today, August 1, they took him off the respirator
and other machines, and he was able to talk today. Praise God, and Thank
You, for all the beautiful prayers from all the Prayer 7/28/01________________________________________________________ Thanking God and thanks for your prayers. My prayers have been answered. My surgery went O.K. I got exemptions for my ROTC training. I really hoped for this, and I really didn't think it was possible; but it happened. Wow! Thanks and God bless. What would I do without your prayers? God is really answering my prayers through your intercessions.
