Though the specific word, "Trinity" is not found in the Bible, the revelation of the Nature of God as: One God; three persons) is. This third set of Memory Verses gives you a little break. This is an easy month, with only two verses to memorize, and the Psalm this month is the shortest of all 150 Psalms: only four verses long! That's because next month's memory verses are on the Deity of Christ, which can also be used to demonstrate the Trinity. Optional Bible Study (If you want, you can also do a little Bible Study on the Trinity...look up: John 14:26; John 15:26; II Corinthians 13:14; I Peter 1:2). The Trinity Matthew 3:16,17 "And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: and lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." -Matthew 3:16,17 Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:" -Matthew 28:19 ___________________________________ A Psalm of Praise And for growth in your prayer life...the Psalm to memorize with this Set of Memory Verses is: Psalm 117 Exhortation to praise God. O Praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever.
