Gifts / Contact Us 9/28/01_______________________________________________________ Your ministry sounds very exciting! The Lord answers prayers! I was wondering if you make your green habits available for donation? Blessings, Rev. Daniel S.
Note from The Prayer Foundation
™:
Our ministry is very exciting! In the morning we wake up
and think, "What is the Lord going to do today? Healings,
miracles, new Prayer Warriors, new Monks. The blessing and joy
of answered prayer on an oftener than daily basis. We thank,
praise, and give glory to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
As to our green Monk Habits ( monk robes); some of those who have registered to be monks of our Knights of Prayer monastic Order (see: Monk Certificate & Card, and Become A Monk!) have wanted to obtain a Habit for their own use during their own prayer times. We feel that they should be able to obtain them. We hope to make them available eventually. 9/23/01_______________________________________________________ Thank you for the prayers. You are wonderful people and have helped many people with your prayers! God bless you! 9/16/01_______________________________________________________
Dear Monks at Prayer,
I
am at prayer for the nations effected by the terrorist attack on
America with you, our President, our stunned brothers and sisters
everywhere in this nation/most of the world. I know many of them
are in prayer too. Part of my prayers are that this tragedy
transform our consciousness as people and nations for the much
better and divine. Let us allow the True God of us all to use
this to His very great good for us and all the world. And
enduringly so. And that we and all nations now wake reverently
and joyfully to the larger comprehension and embodiment of His
Ways. Let us also put down our religious prejudices to
truly see and love and live the beauty and goodness that is our
Loving and Beloved God. Christ will prove Himself if
we live for Him.
Thank you and blessings
to you and yours.
J.
8/26/01_______________________________________________________ I've never heard of one, but
why not a Protestant Monastery? I'm sure there are many Protestant
believers who would like to completely dedicate their lives to prayer
and reflection.
Note from The Prayer Foundation™:
Actually, there have been Protestant Monasteries (Anglican and
Episcopal) for over one hundred years. We have
also heard of a Lutheran monastery in Denmark, and in Michigan. Taize, in
France, was founded as an independent, non-denominational Protestant
monastery right after World War II. Where we are unique, is not
in being Protestant, but in being the first and only
completely Born-again Christian monastery in the world, and having
that teaching in both our Statement of Faith, (About Jesus: The Plan
of Salvation) and as our message to the world. Also unique is
that we are the first Christian religious Order to ever offer full
monk status to women, married persons, and lay persons in general.
(For more information on these subjects see our pages: Statement of Faith,
Plan of Salvation, and Monk
Linda: The First Lady Monk).
8/20/01_______________________________________________________ Thanks so much for the info. on
how to become a monk. For about four years, I have been living...to get closer to God, and have
felt strongly in my heart that I wanted to live as a "lay
monk." It is wonderful that you are offering the opportunity
to legitimize this in some way, and that I can belong to a group of
like-minded people. I'm going to send in my payment today, and
look forward to receiving the card and certificate. Thanks again,
and God bless you.
