Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I've been reading E. M. Bounds: (Power through Prayer).
It has been very enlightening and a Lot of Food for thought.
I guess we can, or should I say I, say I've gotten a little complacent in my Prayer life over the years and I needed a revival to take place.
Thank You All for your Website.
In Christ,
Thomas H.

Dear Brethren at Prayer Foundation:
Greetings in Christ!  For many years now I have been searching for an evangelical monastic community.  I am excited to read about your community.
I am 39 years old.  I am a minister with the Christian & Missionary Alliance church.  My other job is as a psychotherapist in a local drug rehabilitation facility.
The monastic spirituality has been a real source of inspiration and growth in my spiritual journey.
I hope to start something similar in the Philippines someday.  (Previously) I have lived in the United States for a year, helping an evangelical ministry set up its own therapeutic community in San Francisco.
At the moment I am doing my doctoral program in clinical psychology and writing my dissertation in psychotherapy which I hope to finish in July of 2007, Lord willing.
Ruel (Philippines)

...your site is very very helpful for Christians who are new, or
even for old-timers like me; who have kind of muddled their way along in their Christian walk...I have found your funky Site so terribly
refreshing in this dry place I'm going through now.  I refer your Site to
friends every day, and perhaps I might try and start a community here in a year or two --- who knows.

Everyday I find something new and encouraging - I am enjoying the little course you have and it's something of a novelty what with the monk stuff and all.  I have sent you a letter to get a  funky "monk card".  Who says being a Christian isn't fun?!  Some Christians, I'm sure would probably scoff at it but I can see the practicality of it.  Paul said, "I am become all
things that by chance I may win some to Christ."
  And that is what's
important.
Cheers.  And God bless.

Rod. (Winnipeg, Canada)

...I am actually writing to ask if you could possibly remove my story from your website.  The reason I am making this request is because I am under contract and printed publications must be cleared before they are released.  This publication, and some others that have been printed...have not gone through proper channels.  And the permission to print must be given before the actual speaking engagement.
If you have any questions please feel free to call me.
Thank you so much.  I look forward to talking with you in the future.

I want to receive your newsletter.  I was surprised to find the existence of Protestant Monasticism.  I had thought that God through me had invented the idea.  I did believe that God must have been raising up others for this, but I had never heard of any.  I had a strong sense to type in Protestant Monasticism on the internet. You popped up.  I had written about it off and on for the past year, but thought it was a new idea.  I was wrong.  God bless you abundantly.  I truly love what God has done through you.
